In this interactive webinar, Dr. Eliaz will discuss the philosophy and principles of integrative cancer care and outline a comprehensive clinical model for integrative cancer prevention and treatment. Drawing on his diverse training across multiple medical systems including Western allopathic, Traditional Chinese, mind-body, and integrative oncology, Dr. Eliaz will share practical tools to increase the health of the patient while simultaneously fighting their cancer. In-depth understanding of the patient, their risks and how to strategically address their individual needs will be explored. Evaluation of cancer risk factors such as stress, emotions, lifestyle, inflammation, galectin-3 levels and additional biomarkers, toxic body burden and other factors will be discussed. In-depth assessment using labs, imaging and other diagnostic tools will also be presented. Dr. Eliaz will share research on synergistically combined integrative cancer therapies with demonstrated success in treatment and prevention. Published studies on specific botanical and nutritional therapies, mind-body practices, lifestyle modifications, synergistically combined conventional and integrative cancer treatments, and advanced cancer therapies will be presented. Case studies will also be shared, and clinical protocols and examples will be discussed in detail.

 

Dr. Eliaz has been a pioneer in the field of integrative medicine since the early 1980’s, with a specific focus on cancer, immune health, detoxification, and mind-body medicine. He is a respected clinician, researcher, author and educator and has been teaching continuing education to health care providers for over 25 years. As part of his commitment to the advancement of integrative medicine, Dr. Eliaz is directly involved in ongoing research and has published a number of peer reviewed studies demonstrating the effectiveness of specific integrative therapies for immune enhancement, heavy metal toxicity, and cancer prevention and treatment.
