The importance of nutritional therapy in the treatment of mental disorders is not always considered despite valid clinical evidence. Dr Greenblatt will review the current evidence and present practical clinical applications of nutritional therapies in the treatment of anxiety, mood and eating disorders.
Case studies and time for discussion will be included in each presentation.
A few of the topics to be covered include:
- Nutritional factors in anxiety, OCD, and sleep disorders
- The association of nutrients such as B12, GABA, inositol, essential fats, magnesium and anxiety disorders
- The impact of dairy and wheat sensitivities on mental function
- Nutrients commonly deficient in patients with eating disorders
