“Legislative Update”

Come learn how to support the AzNMA and your State Licensing Board on 2 major Legislative Priorities for this Fall:

1) The first is a proposal to match our legal scope in Arizona to our education on pharmacology. Specifically this proposal will allow naturopathic physicians to prescribe all Schedule II and Legend Drugs.

2) The second proposal relates to the Arizona Naturopathic Medical Board and involves the legal requirement that the board be continued. The legislature must pass a bill this coming legislative session continuing the life of our regulatory board or the board will terminate. AzNMA will work with our regulatory board to assure that legislation is passed that continues the board and prevent any detrimental requirements being placed on the board.

Being successful on these issues will require the involvement from all naturopathic physicians in Arizona.
