Ortho Molecular Products and RMS Announce Solution to Combat Nutrient Deficiencies

The new software will assist pharmacists in making dietary supplement recommendations when filling prescriptions, thereby reducing the incidence of drug-induced nutrient depletion in patients and bolstering their bottom lines.

This Digital Replete Program is available via two channels. It can be accessed via an online portal, which provides nutrient depletion information to the pharmacy. A second option would be for the pharmacy to integrate the Digital Replete Program software with their RMS point-of-sale system. This provides nutrient depletion information specific to each prescription as it is being scanned at the register and being picked up by the patient or caregiver. In either solution, this information can be printed and shared with the patient to immediately begin the discussion on nutrient repletion options.
