Introduction to Naturopathic Oncology

Cancer is a global epidemic. While age adjusted rates of cancer are stable or on the decline in North America total cancer cases are on a consistent rise. In Canada, like the rest of the world, mortality rates have seen a modest 4% improvement over the past decade. Much of these improvements can be attributed to early diagnosis and not treatment advances. More needs to be done and naturopathic interventions have a great deal to provide support for cancer patients to improve both tolerability and efficacy of standard cancer care. The goal for this seminar is to provide Naturopathic Doctors with a solid background in oncology science.
