According to the CDC, “chronic diseases are among the most common, costly, and preventable of all health problems in the US.” Heart disease and cancer lead the way, accounting for more than half the deaths in the US. Naturopathic medicine, with its focus on prevention and a whole-person approach to health, has much to offer our current health care system, both in regards to prevention and management of chronic disease. Join us in Pittsburgh this fall as we illustrate the value of naturopathic medicine and a holistic approach to chronic disease.
Our conference will feature a fantastic lineup of speakers, including:Betsy Blazek-O’Neill, MD, the Medical Director of the Allegheny General Hospital Integrated Medicine Program; Todd Hoover, MD, the Past President of both the American Institute of Homeopathy and the Council on Homeopathic Education; Phranq Tamburri, ND, the professor of Clinical Urology at SCNM; Corey Schuler, DC, who practices functional endocrinology at the Metabolic Treatment Center in Apple Valley, Minnesota and is core faculty for the School of Applied Clinical Nutrition at New York Chiropractic College; Michael Reece, ND, the past president of the PANP and current board member of the AANP; and Marie Winters, ND, Veronica Stevens, ND, and Sheba Roy, ND, who work alongside oncologists at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Philadelphia.
