Nogier auriculotherapy is much more than just ear acupuncture or acupressure. It’s a unique and sophisticated system that identifies and treats imbalances in the body and blockages to healing by detecting specific ‘alive’ points on the ear through the use of the pulse and filters. Using filters allows the practitioner to identify specific dysfunctions within the body and facilitate healing.

You will learn the anatomy and treatment of the ear according to Paul Nogier’s three phases of acute, chronic and inflammatory auricular points, as well as the three tissue layers. These phases indicate the progression of disease as well as movement towards healing with the treatment of the specific alive points. You will also explore and practice the vascular autonomic signal (VAS) from the pulse which allows the practitioner to find the reactive points on the ear that indicate imbalance and disease in the body.

The use of micro filters for treatment and diagnosis will be introduced and practiced in addition to the identification and treatment of common blockages in the body, (i.e. scars, emotions, pain and toxins that prevent the body from healing). You will also learn the use of the VAS for identification of food/airborne sensitivities and allergies, the presence of heavy metal and other environmental toxins and to assist in the selection of specific herbal formulas, supplements and homeopathic remedies. The seminar will include lecture, demonstration and extensive practice sessions.

Upon completion of the seminar you will be able to:

• Identify and locate anatomical regions of the ear.
• Locate the VAS (vascular autonomic signal) with the three-phase filter.
• Identify the progression and three phases of disease.
• Locate and treat blockages to healing (scars, corpus callosum, emotional blockages) and musculoskeletal (mesoderm tissue) projections on the ear.
• Locate and identify visceral/organ (endoderm tissue) projections on the ear.
• Locate and identify the nervous system, hormonal, immune system and emotion (ectoderm tissue) projections on the ear.
• Locate points on the ear and treat for pain.
• Demonstrate correct filter placement.
• Demonstrate the utilization of the VAS for testing toxins, heavy metals, food sensitivities, herbs and supplements.
