Who this masterclass is for

Designed for clinicians who want to confidently guide psychiatric medication tapers while integrating naturopathic and functional medicine approaches.

Naturopathic doctors (NDs/NMDs)

Build a high-demand niche at the intersection of mental health, nutrition, and functional medicine with structured tapering protocols and pharmacy CE.

Primary care & integrative clinicians

You are already prescribing or managing psychiatric medications — this course gives you a safer, more systematic way to taper and co-manage, backed by pharmacy hours.

Mental health professionals

Therapists and counselors who collaborate with prescribers gain a deeper understanding of taper dynamics, withdrawal, and supportive strategies within their scope.

The growing demand for tapering expertise

Psychiatric medication use has surged, yet evidence-based tapering guidance is scarce. Patients are actively seeking clinicians with the skills to help them step down safely.

Global Antidepressant Use
280+ million
people currently taking antidepressants worldwide.
U.S. Adults on Antidepressants
13.2%
of American adults are taking antidepressants.
PCPs Prescribing
70%+
prescribe antidepressants or anxiolytics weekly.
Cross-Tapering Difficulty
80%
of PCPs report challenges in cross-tapering.
Market reality

Long-term psychiatric medication use is now commonplace, yet only half of patients respond to the first antidepressant prescribed.

Patient need

Patients are searching for safe, guided withdrawal options. Holistic centers report 75–87.5% long-term success using integrative tapering approaches.

Practice opportunity

Tapering expertise positions you as a specialist in an under-served area, driving retention, referrals, and collaborative care with prescribers.

Frequently asked questions

Still deciding if this masterclass is the right fit? These answers may help.

Who is this course best suited for?
The course is designed primarily for naturopathic doctors, primary care and integrative clinicians, and mental health professionals who collaborate with prescribers. If you routinely see patients on psychiatric medications and want a more structured, evidence-informed approach to tapering — including pharmacy-focused CE — this training is for you.
Do I need to be a prescriber to benefit?
No. While prescribers gain direct application for medication management, non-prescribing clinicians (e.g., therapists, nutritionists, health coaches working in integrated settings) benefit from understanding taper dynamics, withdrawal patterns, and supportive strategies they can implement within their scope while collaborating with prescribers.
What if I can't attend all sessions live?
All sessions are recorded, and you receive lifetime replay access. You can review material on your schedule and revisit complex topics as often as needed. Attending live is encouraged for interaction, but not required to benefit or to receive CE hours.
Is this course NANCEAC certified and will I receive CE credit?
Yes. The masterclass is NANCEAC certified and provides 21 hours of continuing education credit, including 12 pharmacy hours and 9 general hours. You will receive a certificate of completion that documents your participation and CE breakdown.
How much time should I plan to commit each week?
Plan for a 90-minute live session each week, plus an additional 60-minute case clinic during Weeks 4, 8, and 12. Many clinicians also schedule optional time outside of class to integrate the material, review notes, or apply frameworks to their current caseload.
