2011 Standard Process Whole Foods Nutrition Fellowship
(PORTLAND, OR.) — The Institute for Natural Medicine (INM), a philanthropic foundation founded in 1993 for the purpose of promoting naturopathic education and research, is proud to announce the recipient of the 2011 Natural Health Scholars Fellowship Award for naturopathic medical students. Selection of the fellowship recipient was competitive and based upon research abstracts written by the candidates on a proposed scientific, scholarly literature or clinical case research study pertaining to whole food nutrition. INM has awarded the 2011 Standard Process Whole Foods Nutrition Fellowship of $1,000.00 to the following naturopathic medical student.
Congratulations! to Jonathan L. Otten, a third year medical student at National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL. Mr. Otten submitted an outstanding proposal titled, Trace Mineral Status of Hydroponic Lettuce Grown with Oceanic Nutrients.
The INM Natural Health Scholars Awards Program, now in its 12th year, was made possible entirely through the generous support of our sponsors at Standard Process and Whole Foods. “Standard Process is proud to continue sponsorship of the INM scholarships.
