[protected]Registration for the 2010 Naturopathic Gathering is now OpenKENMORE, WA–October 18, 2010–As fall quarter begins at Bastyr University, the Naturopathic Medicine program announces the 2010 Gathering to be hosted on Bastyr’s campus November 19 – 21.
The Gathering is an annual event; a coming together with the elders of the Naturopathic profession to impart their wisdom, spirit, and heart to the younger generations of students and doctors. The Gathering is a forum where students and doctors can explore as a community the philosophy of Naturopathic medicine.
This year’s theme, “Philosophy in Practice” will be modeled by speakers in traditional lecture format, as well as in breakout sessions throughout the weekend. The focus will be on how to read the vis in patients, and how to practice traditional naturopathy within the modern health paradigm.
The Gathering is open to all naturopathic medical students and doctors. The cost for the three day event is $100, and includes all food for the weekend. For more information and to register, please visit http://www.naturopathicgathering.com/
About the Gathering:
The Gathering is an annual event that was founded by five Naturopathic students at SCNM. Its mission is to deepen the understanding of Naturopathic philosophy in the naturopathic profession, thus informing its practice, by bringing together students, doctors, and elders in a safe, spirit-filled space for the Vis Medicatrix Naturae to work within them. This is the seventh consecutive year for the Gathering.
