The California Naturopathic Doctors Association (CNDA) is holding its Merging Medicine XVI conference on Integrative Psychology: Healing the Mind with Naturopathic Medicine in San Francisco, CA on March 15-16, 2014. The CNDA’s Merging Medicine Conference Series are semi-annual continuing education seminars that offer AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM CME events for licensed Naturopathic Doctors (ND), Medical Doctors (MD), Doctors of Osteopathy (DO), Nurse Practitioners (LNP) and any other interested healthcare practitioners. We also attain accreditation from the California Acupuncture board. The CNDA’s Professional Development Committee is now accepting candidate speaker proposals through August 1, 2013 and we are seeking speakers with expertise in the following areas:
Workup, diagnosis, naturopathic management and referral of mental health conditions commonly seen in primary care practice.
Integrative management of mental health conditions in adults and/or children.
Successful and repeatable application of specific naturopathic therapies in managing mental health conditions, such as homeopathy, botanical medicine, amino acids, mind-body therapies, dietary & lifestyle changes.
Environmental toxicity evaluation and management in mental health conditions.
Specific mental health condition focused lectures on conditions commonly encountered in primary practice such as depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, eating disorders, ADHD, and autistic spectrum disorders.
