Bridgeport, CT (December 6, 2013) – The Center of Excellence in Generative Medicine (COEGM), in collaboration with the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine, is proud to announce its Pathfinder Program – a mentorship program designed to extend the basic naturopathic curriculum for a select cadre of students by providing access to advanced training in the fields of molecular systems biology and computational medicine.
A maximum of eight naturopathic medical students (two students from each year) are accepted into the Pathfinder Program. Accepted Pathfinders receive partial scholarships that extend throughout their four-year course of study. Under the mentorship of Dr. Peter D’Adamo (Distinguished Professor of Clinical Sciences and Director of the COEGM), Pathfinders research and develop applications for use in the fields of bioinformatics, translational research and personalized medicine.
We are proud to announce that first-year naturopathic students, Robert Boyd and Koreen Mosher, are the recipients of the 2013-2014 Pathfinder Scholarship. They join Dianna Zitzerman, Robert Brody, and Meghan Gonick to form the current Pathfinder Team.
