Whole-Person Cancer Care Regardless of Income

If you are not familiar with our program or this contest, please take a moment to read below why this project is important and why we are asking for a few minutes of your precious time. This is an appeal for you to transform the experience of those impacted by cancer in just seconds a day, with the click of your mouse.

With your voting help, Aviva will donate $100K to provide free care within a sustainable Ottawa-based facility for whole-person cancer care for those who cannot afford to pay out of pocket. If successful this will be matched by an additional $200,000 in donations from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) and the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation (ORCF) for the creation of this center and provision of care. WE NEED YOUR HELP – PLEASE VOTE (10x)!
We all know and love someone who is touched by cancer. With your support we can accelerate needed changes in our health care system to include a holistic and whole-person model of cancer care. Success of this initiative will greatly impact the lives of cancer patients, survivors, and their loved ones.

Our goal is to get 10,000 votes between Dec. 2nd and Dec. 15th, 2010. We are asking you to show your support by registering online and voting 10 times (once per day for 10 days) for our project.
