ECS Therapeutics™ offers CE webinar on therapeutic potential of topical cannabinoids, plus introduces three new products

Hauppauge, NY – ECS Therapeutics, the leading provider of a healthcare practitioner-exclusive line of CBD products, is committed to the continuing education of healthcare professionals. Offering a free CE credit (approved for General, Pharmacy, or Pain), ECS Therapeutics is opening up registration for an educational webinar that will discuss cannabinoids and their therapeutic interaction with the skin.

The upcoming webinar, Therapeutic Potential of Topical Cannabinoids, will be presented by Naturopathic Doctor Stefan Kuprowsky, who will share insights based on available research, as well as from his professional experience using cannabinoids in practice. The webinar will also include a review of the skin’s endocannabinoid system and how cannabinoids act on its receptors, scientific research on the effects of using CBD topically, and more.

Dr. Kuprowsky explains, “CB1 and CB2 receptors are found in virtually all cell types of the skin. In fact, the skin has a significant capacity to synthesize and respond to cannabinoids, including CBD.” He adds,  “While anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects of cannabinoids are understood, it has now become clear that the ECS plays a role in healthy skin and a range of dermatological conditions as well.”

The webinar will be held on February 24th, at 5:30pm ET. For more information and to register, click here. For health practitioners unable to attend the live event, once registered, a recording will be made available after the event has concluded.

In addition to sponsoring the CE credit webinar, ECS Therapeutics is launching three new products to expand their professional line of topical CBD products. Available in a therapeutic cream, roll-on lotion and balm, these advanced topical formulas include unique ingredients that promote added synergy. Their new products are carefully formulated with responsibly sourced ingredients to be free of parabens, silicone, petroleum, plasticizers and other recognized harmful ingredients that you may find in other topical products in the market.
