Nordic Naturals® Thanks Natural Products Industry at NPEE 2013

#1 fish oil brand highlights new products, prizes, and lots of Viking fun

Watsonville, California (September 11, 2013) Nordic Naturals®—ranked the #1 fish oil according to SPINS—is revving up for this year’s Natural Products Expo East with education, promotions, new products, contests, happy hour, and Viking fun! The company will exhibit at booth #4826 at the Baltimore Convention Center, September 26-28, 2013.

Show highlights for Nordic Naturals include:

 Education Update: “Modern Fats for the Modern Mind: EFAs and Mental Health” with Captain Joseph Hibbeln, MD, USPHS, of the National Institutes of Health. Capt. Hibbeln will discuss the effects of omega-3 fats on the brain—the body’s super computer. Attendees will learn about the latest research regarding the clinical efficacy of omega-3s in supporting mood and attention levels, the role of competition between omega-6 and omega-3 essential fats, and more. Retailers who attend may pick up an authorized order form following the presentation to receive an additional 5% off their show orders, for a total discount up to 25%.

New Products: This season Nordic Naturals launches Nordic Probiotic™, a multi-strain blend of beneficial probiotics, enhanced with prebiotics, and a new 120-count size of their top-selling Vitamin D3 Gummies.

Enter to Win: Retailers who join the fun and have their picture taken as a Nordic Naturals Viking will be eligible to enter to win a 16GB iPad mini! One winner will be chosen at 5:00 pm on both Thursday and Friday during Happy Hour at the Nordic Naturals booth. Entrants must be present to win.

 Viking Hats & Prizes: Viking hats will be given away at the Nordic Naturals booth. Attendees who are spotted wearing a Nordic Naturals Viking hat on the show floor by a designated Nordic Naturals representative, will win one of 50 cash prizes!

 Letters to our Military: As part of its end-of-the-year initiative “Buy One. Pass It On.” that supports U.S.  troops, Nordic Naturals is inviting Expo East attendees to write a note of thanks on specially designed notecards available at the booth. The notecards, as well as up to $30,000 worth of top-selling Ultimate Omega, will be sent to active-duty military and veterans.

 Sign up to Learn & Earn: Retailers are invited to explore the brand new module—“The Triglyceride Advantage”—on Nordic Naturals’ innovative, online training program. New participants who sign up for the educational training program at the booth will receive a free, full-sized bottle of Ultimate Omega.

 Happy Hour with the Nordic Team: Show-goers are invited to stop by the booth from 4:00–6:00 pm on Thursday and Friday to mingle with the Nordic Naturals team and give cheers to a great show.
