AANP Advocacy Grant for ND State Associations – Announcement

The 2018 state advocacy grant application for the fall round of funding is OPEN for new applications! In support of the AANP’s number one advocacy goal of licensure of naturopathic doctors in all 50 states by 2025, the AANP is once again awarding advocacy grants to state associations of naturopathic doctors. In the last two and a half years, the AANP has awarded $62,500.00 in grants to state associations, and it has pledged another $12,500 to support licensure efforts this year.

Applications are limited to states seeking regulation of NDs

Applications are limited to states seeking regulation of NDs (not those seeking scope expansions). Preference will be given to AANP members and to states that are closest to crossing the finish line to licensure.

Applications are limited to one per state! In this second round of funding for 2018, $12,500 of funding is available, and the maximum grant amount is $10,000.00. The deadline for this round of grants is October 22, 2018.

PREVIOUS APPLICANTS: If your state association submitted a grant earlier this year, you do NOT need to fill out a new application. Simply email us an update on the progress you’ve made in the last six months. Updates may be emailed to traci.hobson@naturopathic.org or programs@naturopathic.org.

NEW APPLICANTS: If your association did not apply for a grant earlier this year, you can access the application HERE.

The AANP is pleased to maintain this commitment to materially support state association advocacy efforts. In consultation with the AANP staff, the State & Federal Affairs Committee will award grants based on the information and insight provided in the application.
