Building a Marketing Engine for Your Practice

Practice Building
James Maskell, CEO, Revive NYC

Over the last two and a half years, in this column we have provided many tools and resources to build a marketing engine for your practice. We, at Revive, believe in the power of naturopathic medicine, and our goal has always been to empower you to drive new patients to your clinic through innovative marketing techniques.

Offline, you could have screened a health movie in a local theater, or partnered with a national organization on an education event. Are you getting enough referrals? Do you have a proven strategy to increase them? Did you even plan your marketing?

Online, you could have set up a GroupOn or a Google+ hangout, or a guest blog to drive more traffic to your site. At the very least, you could have prepared your practice for social networking and search engine optimization or created a simple e-newsletter.

We really hoped you might have done it all, taking advantage of the unlimited opportunity that is in front of you at this specific juncture.

So:

  • Are more patients coming to your practice?
  • Have any more states endorsed naturopathic medicine?
  • Have you taken your rightful place as the future of primary care?

Well, from our vantage point, we haven’t seen the progress we would like. Initiative can only be taken, not given.

As a result, we have decided to take this into our own hands and create a new solution. This solution takes advantage of the scaling benefits of the long tail of the Internet and markets not one clinic, rather a whole team of naturopaths across the country.

This project is called Revive Primary Care, and it will launch in April. The three main objectives will:

  • send new patients to your clinic,
  • make it easy for you to inspire and educate your patients, and
  • encourage patient compliance and follow through.

We feel that this is the quickest and most effective way to be a catalyst for shifting the health paradigm. We would love to hear your feedback and questions.
