Naturopathic Medicine Institute Announces Vital Gathering 2026: Clinical Training in Therapeutic Touch and Vitalist Practice

The Naturopathic Medicine Institute (NMI) announces Vital Gathering 2026, its annual continuing education conference for naturopathic physicians and students, taking place April 24–26, 2026, at Sonoran University of Health Sciences. Centered on the theme “Hands-on Healing: Restoring the Art of Therapeutic Touch,” this year’s event focuses on advancing clinical skill, palpatory awareness, and the practical application of vitalist principles in modern naturopathic medicine.

 

Continuing Education for Naturopathic Doctors and Students

Vital Gathering 2026 is designed as a clinical training experience that integrates foundational philosophy with practical application. The program supports naturopathic doctors (NDs) and students in strengthening diagnostic and therapeutic skills through direct clinical engagement. Attendees will earn 15.25 NANCEAC-approved continuing education (CE) credits (14.25 general, 1 pharmacology), meeting professional licensure requirements while expanding clinical 

competency.

 

Conference Highlights: Clinical Training and Therapeutic Modalities

The 2026 program includes instruction and hands-on training in:

  • Craniosacral and palpatory techniques 
  • Bowen therapy and Chapman reflex applications 
  • Battlefield acupuncture and acupressure 
  • Botanical compresses and poultices
  • Homeopathic approaches to acute and first-aid care 

Each session is structured to support immediate integration into clinical practice, reinforcing 

both technical skill and practitioner confidence.

 

Advancing Vitalist Naturopathic Medicine

Vital Gathering is a cornerstone event of the Naturopathic Medicine Institute, reflecting its mission to advance vitalistic naturopathic medicine through education, community, and leadership development.

The conference brings together a national network of physicians, educators, and students
