NDNR Welcomes Dr. Kareem Kandil, MD, ND as New Medical Director

Scottsdale, Arizona – May 13, 2025 – Naturopathic Doctor News & Review (NDNR) proudly welcomes Dr. Kareem Kandil, MD, ND, as its incoming Medical Director. Dr. Kandil brings an exceptional combination of expertise spanning clinical practice, academic instruction, scientific communication, and natural medicine formulation to this pivotal leadership role.

Dr. Kandil’s distinguished academic and clinical journey positions him uniquely at the intersection of conventional and naturopathic medicine. With a biology and chemistry foundation and early clinical experience as an emergency room medical scribe, he pursued his medical degree on the nature island of the Caribbean. Following an observership in integrative medicine, he was drawn to the holistic and patient-centered philosophy of naturopathic medicine, ultimately earning a second doctorate. This dual training affords Dr. Kandil a rare and comprehensive perspective, allowing him to seamlessly bridge evidence-based conventional practices with the art and science of naturopathic care.

Throughout his career, Dr. Kandil has actively contributed to clinical care, research initiatives, and professional education as a clinical consultant, medical writer, and nutraceutical formulation expert. His innovative work has continually advanced integrative healthcare and evidence-informed natural therapeutics, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to scientific rigor and interdisciplinary collaboration, values integral to NDNR’s mission of elevating naturopathic medicine and fostering clinical excellence.
