How does supporting naturopathic medicine relate to your company culture?
Rocky Mountain Analytical (RMA) believes that good food, fun, exercise and meaningful service are the core of good health – activities we see as being at the heart of naturopathic medicine. Some of the ways we promote healthy living are by having regular off-site fun days, giving our employees health spending accounts, helping to build a Habitat for Humanity house, and declaring every day a casual dress day.
RMA was founded in 2002 by Dr. George Gillson with a goal to improve access to in-Canada laboratory tests for naturopathic doctors and other functional/integrative medicine professionals. Our Client Services team looks at problems from the client perspective, answers questions and works with clinicians to help patients. We employ student representatives, contribute to Naturopaths Without Borders and Naturopathic Doctors International fundraising, sponsor a treatment room at Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, offer free webinars and have a Clinician Support Specialist, Dr. Joe Klassen ND, to help answer clinical questions. We support numerous provincial naturopathic associations, and regularly attend industry conferences.
RMA has cultivated a loyal following of healthcare professionals, all unified by a desire to prevent disease and achieve health by optimizing each individual’s own healing potential. Our commitment to our values of: focusing on patient well-being, building strong collaborative relationships with clinicians, and advancing the science of wellness has made RMA Canada’s leading wellness-focused laboratory. Together, we are changing lives one test at a time.
