Dr. Lewis’s talk, “Evolving Neurotherapeutics for Optimal Brain Health,” will address the science-backed benefits of omega-3s for the brain and the current state of research on omega-3s and neurological health. He will also present his own clinical experience using omega-3s in cases of sub-optimal brain health and cognitive function. A complimentary breakfast will be served in conjunction with the presentation.

About Dr. Lewis
Michael Lewis is an expert on the use of omega-3 fatty acids to support brain health and cognitive function. He is featured regularly in the media, including appearances on CNN’s Sanjay Gupta MD show and numerous radio shows. Dr. Lewis is a retired Colonel in the U.S. Army. He is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, and Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, with postgraduate training at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center and The Johns Hopkins University. He is founder and president of the non-profit Brain Health Education and Research Institute based in Potomac, Maryland, and is currently in private practice in the Washington, DC area.
