Theracurmin, the first water-dispersible curcumin, now available from Integrative Therapeutics™

Press Release

GREEN BAY, WI (October 30, 2012)—Leading supplement manufacturer, Integrative Therapeutics, launches the first water-dispersible curcumin, Theracurmin.

Theracurmin is 27X more bioavailable than standard curcumin. It dissolves quickly and maintains solubility over time, thereby improving curcumin’s overall absorption. This novel preparation of turmeric utilizes patented, natural colloidal dispersion technology to enhance bioavailability and dramatically increase curcumin levels in the blood.*

Gaetano Morello, a naturopathic physician practicing in West Vancouver, Canada, comments, “For years I’ve been a big fan of effective curcumin products. Theracurmin is an exciting novel ingredient that is already showing impressive clinical outcomes for a variety of conditions.”

Curcumin is a frequently studied natural ingredient, however, these studies are limited due to curcumin’s historically poor absorption in humans.

Though new to the market, Theracurmin has already been the subject of compelling clinical research demonstrating its ability to promote healthy liver function in humans.*

Other research on Theracurmin demonstrates its ability to increase skin moisture levels, promote exercise endurance in postmenopausal women, and support muscle fatigue after endurance exercise. At the time of this writing, two additional clinical trials of Theracurmin are ongoing.

Integrative Therapeutics offers this novel form of turmeric in a 600 mg vegetarian capsule. The company recommends a loading dose of 3 a day for the first week, followed by 1-2 capsules a day, depending on the specific patient needs.

On December 12th, Dr. Morello will host a live webinar discussing the benefits of Theracurmin, along with specific clinical applications and real case studies showing successful use within his practice.
