Demand for knowledge on the role of epigenetics and biochemical individuality in successful diagnosis and treatment of complex and recalcitrant conditions is exploding. A key element to this process is to understand the mechanisms of epigenetics and how they affect patient health. During this presentation, Dr. Nash will introduce the essential elements of methylation, histone acetylation and the significance of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs). She will also address various strategies that can be employed towards a wide variety of concerns, ranging from cardiovascular and intestinal health to arthritis and IBD.
