Heal~Empower~Sustain Event for Global Health

Naturopaths Without Borders (NWB), a non-profit organization which brings natural medicine and health education to communities across the globe, will be hosting its first annual fundraising gala November 15^th, 2014. Guests at the Phoenix, AZ event entitled, “Heal~Empower~Sustain” will be taken “Around the World” with internationally-inspired food and beverages, live entertainment, a silent auction, raffle and more. Funds raised at the gala will support the work of the organization in Mexico, Haiti the United States. NWB provides medical care, health education, a malnutrition program for children, gardening and food-security projects and more. Supporters of Naturopathic Medicine, global health and health education are invited to attend. NWB’s mission is to offer Naturopathic health care to impoverished communities while empowering those communities through education, cultivating sustainable resources, and supporting growth. To help fulfill this mission, NWB plans to hold key fundraising events to improve and expand their work around the globe.   These events also fund supplies, supplements and modest salaries for health care workers. From sterile supplies for births, to probiotics to quell diarrhea in children, to training for health educators who can teach members of the community; donations impact people around the world. Combining Naturopathic healthcare with holistic community needs, including gardening, education, economic development and sanitation, NWB unifies communities of health care professionals, advisors, students, donors and many other allies.

In addition to fundraising through events, NWB accepts donations of money, supplies and volunteer hours. Naturopaths Without Borders’ volunteers are the lifeline of the organization, bringing natural health care and education to the world, one giving heart at a time.
