May 14, 2014

2014 AARM CME WEBINAR SERIES

Hormone Therapy Webinar Series

Hormone therapy offers effective relief from chronic conditions and age-related decline. Hormone therapy is extremely safe when prescribed appropriately. Join experts as they reveal evidence-based recommendations for utilizing hormone, herb, and nutrient protocols. You will gain a better understanding of how to prescribe hormones and herbs to treat challenging conditions such as adrenal dysfunction, endocrine imbalances, and cardiovascular disorders. After completing this series, you will be able to confidently order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe/dose appropriate hormone therapies for your patients.

Rebuilding Robust Adrenals as the Foundation for Balanced Hormones

Subclinical Adrenal dysfunction is becoming more common among patients presenting to the clinic, and recent evidence suggests that this increase in adrenal problems is likely related to your patient’s persistent exposure to long-term, chronic stress. Based-on current research, this course will provide insight into how adrenal overexertion is associated with irregularities in thyroid and sex hormone production, as well as cortisol imbalances. This webinar will review several key signs and symptoms linked with subclinical adrenal dysfunction, and offer evidence-based instruction regarding the management of related-hormonal imbalances.

Learning Objectives

-Identify the most important signs and symptoms associated with subclinical adrenal dysfunction.
-Make appropriate recommendations regarding life-style modifications for stress reduction.
-Explain the connection between adrenal overexertion and irregularities in thyroid and sex hormone production, as well as cortisol imbalances.
