September 1, 2017 @ 8:00 am - September 4, 2017 @ 6:00 pm

In this course with Etienne Piersman, will explore the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of Dying. The fear of Dying will be individually explored and from there we will look at how we can prepare for Dying. The phases that the body goes through while Dying need to be understood so we can know how CS can help in these processes. We will explore how we can be with and help a Dying person. What is mourning and how can we help the family with their grief. How can we use Craniosacral while preparing for Death, during the process of Dying. Date: Friday Sept. 1 through Monday September 4, 2017 Time: 8:00am – 6:00pm Instructor: Etienne Peirsman, MM (29 CEUs)

What makes it so difficult to let go and ultimately to let go of the body. What are our fears about Dying?

We will explore the specific phases a body goes through when it is preparing to die and how we can recognize these states so we know what we can do to be with a dying person.

We will explore our own fears around so we can help the dying person to face their own fear. What is it we forgot to do in this life now that we are facing death? This is an invitation for students to explore this life so death when it comes can be a celebration.

We need to be able to help the family on how to be with the dying and help them with their grieving process.

Why is it that the death industry opposes dying with dignity and grace and what can we do about it.

We will look at the food intake, dreams and visions, hallucinations, hospice, near-death experiences and other phenomena that are possible at the time when the veil to the other world will be lifted.

We will experience our own death and what it means to die consciously, and above all how can Craniosacral and our touch contribute to facilitate this process.
