When the journal Alternative and Complementary Therapies asked several practitioners to identify experts in the recognition and treatment of environmental chemical toxicity, one name consistently arose: Walter J. Crinnion ND. The OAND is pleased to bring Dr. Crinnion and this intensive, practical, and popular course to Ontario. NDs across the province now have the opportunity to take this certification course in Toronto, rather than having to travel to the United States, as many Ontario NDs and other practitioners having been doing over the past years.
This certification course is comprised of a 3-part series of weekend courses (see dates above) and a home-study component preparing for each instructional weekend (study materials included in course fee). This program explores in depth the sources of exposure to environmental chemical toxicity, how the natural progression of chemical overload may be affecting your patients, selection
and interpretation of tests and an intensive exploration of treatment options. Participants will be presented with detailed case studies that will allow exploration of each stage of diagnosis and treatment. Participants will also be asked to bring at least one patient case study to discuss during the course.
Walter Crinnion, ND is a renowned expert in detoxification and environmental medicine, with peer reviewed publications and extensive clinical and research experience. Dr. Crinnion was the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians’ “Physician of the Year” in 2004 and is the founder and head of the Environmental Medicine Center of Excellence at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine.
