Food as Medicine Institute: From Root to Plate – Cooking with Medicinal Herbs

Join three great minds, Chef Chris Starkus of Urban FarmerCory Szybala, ND, and herbalist Jeff Johnson from Rising Stone Farms on a journey into the world of medicinal herbs in cooking. These passionate educators will collaborate to highlight the versatility and medicinal benefits of ashwaganda, chickweed and watercress.
From a vivacious hand-made flat bread to a deep warming broth, learn about the roots of medicine through hands-on cookingforaging and sharing a family-style meal.
This class will be held on a farm, so be prepared to bring your boots and layers!
Lunch and libations will be provided during the course of this four-hour intensive.
