January 22, 2011

Nature, in her infinite wisdom, provides the foods and medicines our bodies need for supporting good health with each new season. In this hands-on workshop explore foods and medicinal preparations that can be used to bolster the immune system this winter!

Explore the medicinal properties and traditional uses of some of winter’s most powerful plant and fungi allies. Learn key botanical traits as well as cultivation and harvesting tips. Put your knowledge into practical use, as you create herbal syrups, medicated honeys, infused vinegars and tonic soups in class.
