A precise, light-to-the-touch therapy recognized by both the international medical and spa wellness communities, Dr. Emil Vodder’s Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) is the perfect rehabilitative tool for a wide range of inflammatory and stress related conditions.  This 40 hour training introduces students to the anatomy and physiology of the lymph vessel system and provides practical instruction in MLD strokes, techniques and protocols for individual body parts.Learn more about MLD and this class.

Background of Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD): First practiced n the 1930’s in the South of France where Danish born Emil Vodder and his wife Astrid (a Naturopathic Doctor) began treating  inflammation and swollen lymph nodes caused by sinus Infections, the technique was first popular with the esthetic industry due to its remarkable rejuvenating effects. It later became popular as an effective physical therapy for the treatment of Lymphedema.

NCNM is pleased to offer this the first of a two-part intensive training, taught by the founder of ASTECC. ASTECC offers certification in Spa Body/ Wellness licensed through Dr. Vodder’s School International.
