The Ethics of Vaccinations

November 11, 2010 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

One of the most controversial topics in medicine, immunizations have a long history of ethical debate particularly in the naturopathic community. Yet mass immunizations appear to have been largely ignored by modern biomedical ethicists.

Those people who in the past have dared to voice dissenting views were generally labeled “fanatics” and were thought to count among the uneducated masses. What is new about the current controversy is that dissenting voices are arising from well-informed and well-educated lay persons and health care professionals alike.

This exciting webinar discusses ethical issues surrounding mandatory vaccination, routine immunizations and herd immunity.
