Weaving the Endocrine Web – Mind the Master: Targeted Thyroid Treatment
October 18, 2011
October 18, 2011 – 6:30pm Central Time
Presented by Holly Lucille, ND, RN
New research suggests that the estimated number of individuals suffering from thyroid imbalance is twice the previously suspected level. In fact, more than 13 million Americans may not realize they have a thyroid issue.
Sub-laboratory hypothyroidism is a frequently underdiagnosed and undertreated condition for women. It is also a controversial subject among healthcare practitioners. Yet an under-functioning thyroid impacts the function of each and every cell of the body. It has been linked to more than just weight and energy concerns – research shows it can be a culprit behind a wide range of conditions, including cardiovascular disease (increased LDL), infertility, chronic pain, cancer, autoimmune diseases. Evaluating the impact of modern day influences, such as environmental exposure and nutrient deficiencies, in addition to assessing hormone levels, is a critical path to optimizing thyroid function and resolving a myriad of clinical symptoms.
In this presentation, Dr. Holly Lucille will share her strategies for detecting and addressing thyroid and adrenal issues. Her effective, whole body approach can be easily incorporated into any practice.
