Liberating Your Lower Back: Relieve Pain & Restore Health

Lower back pain affects more than 31 million Americans. If you’re one of them, help is on the way! Chronic tension, weakness, poor posture and over-use contribute to the problem. Even yoga, executed without awareness, can progressively create strain on the joints. This therapeutic workshop is designed to teach you the means to heal your back with yoga and prevent future injuries. Appropriate for novice students who are interested in learning a clinically proven self-care program as well as yoga teachers and health care practitioners who are interested in a therapeutic approach to address low back pain. With Robin’s expert guidance, you will experience the importance of breathing, sequencing, essential core development and relaxation in alleviating chronic pain in the lower back and pelvis.

Upon completion of the seminar I will be able to:

  • Describe the basic anatomy of the pelvis and lower back.
  • Perform yoga postures that lessen muscle tension.
  • Describe how posture and movement patterns can create pain as well as transform pain.
  • Use proper breathing and describe how breathing can be used to reduce pain and tension.
